As part of my Wedding Series, I wanted to share a special detail from my wedding — our VOGUE-style photo booth.
In many Korean weddings, photo booths have become a common feature for guests to take instant photos and create keepsakes.
However, with the help of my amazing wedding photographer, Lorryn Smit, we decided to create something a little more stylish and editorial.
The Concept
Instead of using a typical instant-print photo machine, we set up a professional photo booth experience.
A fashion photographer took portraits of guests throughout the ceremony, and the photos were later uploaded to a QR code — so everyone could instantly access their images.
For this, I collaborated with Sasha Don (@wasabi2310), a talented fashion photographer known for her creative direction and sense of detail.
The result was a seamless blend of fashion photography and wedding charm — something you’d expect to see in a magazine.
The Experience
On the wedding day, the photo booth was an absolute hit.
Guests loved the concept — it felt more elevated, modern, and personal than traditional booths.
While I initially encouraged friends to join me for photos, soon everyone started queuing up to take their own.
The portraits beautifully captured everyone’s unique style and mood, creating an elegant memory of the day.
